If you have marked one or more lines at one or both sides of the difference display then this command copies the marked text lines into the Windows clipboard. If you have marked both sides, the text is copied as a two-column table: a framed header line shows the two file names, and a separator character (‘|’) is displayed in the middle between the texts of the two sides (a ‘+’ is used for different areas). If the line number option is enabled, the line numbers are also added at the beginning of the lines — a ‘+’ behind a line number marks a line that was modified by an edit operation, just like in the display. The status bar confirms the copy.
